Disciples for Christ Independent School Foundation, Inc.  (formerly Disiciples for Christ International School) was founded in the year 2000. Over the years, DFCIS has greatly improved in terms of developing a child spiritually, mentally, emotionally and socially. DFCIS was awarded supervised model school status from 2016 to 2018 and for two consecutive school years, DFCIS is now on certified model school status in 2018–2019 and 2019–2020; the only school in Northern Luzon receiving the recommendations so far. Also, the school has been engaging in off-campus co-curricular activities like District and Division Meets, Junior Student Conventions, National Student Conventions, International Student Conventions and many more. The school, has indeed proven itself committed to the holistic development of the learners.

Goals of Christian Education

Disciples for Christ Independent School’s main objective is to prepare children spiritually by instilling in them a love for the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit. Our school also aims to prepare children a personal sense of responsibility to be all God wants them to be and how to live successfully in the real world. We also encourage children to think clearly, logically and independently and we offer an instructional program that meets the academic needs of children. The students must also develop an understanding of the world in which they live in and the ability to appreciate and adjust to their environment to achieve a mastery in the tools of learning and communication.
